Welcome to our new staff & faculty!
As this new school year begins amid a whirlwind of important national news cycles and pandemic health challenges, one thing remains true: “There’s only one thing more precious than our time– and that’s who we spend it on.” (Leo Christopher)

Kehillah parents! Hopefully this year has gotten off to a great start for you and your student! Daisy, our esteemed Head of School, has graciously arranged to have Dr. Michael Thompson lead four 1-2 hour zoom parent sessions through this year. The purpose is to provide support and expert guidance about coping through this time, for ourselves, our families, and our children.
This is not mandatory by any means, but is meant to offer expert guidance and support to all of us. It would be very helpful if you could please let us know the days and times that work best for you so that we can best accommodate everyone.
We would appreciate you taking a few minutes to please fill out the attached survey and let us know when works best for you.
Thanks very much and have an awesome year!
Shelley and Timonie, your KPA Co-Chairs

Kinnus Recap – Connection (and reconnection), community coming together
Kinnus this year was something special. From our virtual lip syncing competition to grade level programming and at home choices, our students got to know one another, their teachers, and a little taste of what life at Kehillah is like.
Our newest students shared a bit of who they are, while our seniors made videos answering questions and sharing advice for the freshmen.
Our 10th and 11th graders learned from Be’chol Lashon about Challenges & Opportunities in Embracing Diversity before choosing breakout sessions to explore how they can learn and do more to confront racism in our world. Our two days of virtual gathering was complete with scavenger hunts, guessing games, and a color war competition organized and led by student government. We can’t wait for whe the rest of the year has in store, and this was a wonderful way to begin.
