Visual and Performing Arts Showcase Recap (Photos)
What an incredible show! Thank you to all who participated. There was something for everyone at this year’s Visual and Performing Arts Showcase: For the Love of Art. Kehillah artists selected their best work and were on site to discuss their pieces. Student musicians were performing throughout the event, and the Music Theory scholars unveiled their own musical compositions created in class. Our thespians performed monologues, improv, and scenes and there was a sneak-peek rehearsal for the upcoming musical, The Wedding Singer.
“That our students can express themselves so authentically through art is a testament to the extraordinary work that happens in all of our classrooms, in the hallways, in sports, and in every other context” – Rabbi Darren Kleinberg, Head of School
