Your Support Advances Kehillah’s mission of graduating students with the knowledge, values, and community that enable them to create
The Kehillah Fund, formerly called the annual campaign, is the cornerstone of giving at Kehillah Jewish High School. As in every independent school, tuition only covers part of the cost of educating our students. Every gift is an important contribution to Kehillah and directly impacts students, faculty, and staff every day.
In addition, we are committed to providing critical financial aid for those families who otherwise would not be able to benefit from a Kehillah education. This year, we have awarded more than $2.2 million in financial aid to ensure that a Kehillah education is available to all families. We rely on the support of our community to continue providing these scholarships.
Kehillah is extremely fortunate to count an extraordinary donor among our supporters who is committed to making the Kehillah Fund as successful as possible. To that end, a matching gift program has been established to make your gift go even further.
Every gift counts and it appreciated no matter the amount.

A message from our Co-Chairs
As Co-Chairs of the 2020-21 Kehillah Fund, we are delighted to announce the kick-off of our annual fundraising appeal. Each year, the school relies on the Kehillah Fund to support important priorities, such as competitive teacher salaries and benefits, enriching professional development, a wider variety of elective courses, and a robust academic curriculum.
Your contribution this year also supports COVID-19 costs stemming from technology, facilities, targeted professional development, staff support, and emergency financial aid.
In the past, closing the gap between expenses and tuition has been approximately $4K per student. However, this year we expect the gap to be greater than $6K per student as our COVID-19 costs are expected to be well over $400K.
This year, our goal is to raise $1.2M and to receive a donation from 100% of our families. Clearly, every family plays a role in helping us attain these goals, particularly in light of the relatively small size of our school. Please know how much your gift truly matters. We need every family to participate to the best of their ability.
A generous donor continues to provide matching donations. Gifts pledged by our Board, all new gifts, and gifts at or above $1800 will be matched 1:1. Grandparent and staff gifts will be matched 2:1 and alumni gifts will be matched 3:1!
Kehillah’s Board of Directors has already reached 100% participation. Our Kehillah staff are aiming for 100% participation as well. We hope you will join us in giving to our school, our community, our Kehillah.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
