Kehillah has a 9 academic block schedule. Each block meets for 52 minutes, 3 times a week. Ninth-11th grade students must take 7 or 8 classes. Seniors need only to take 6 classes, if they wish. All students have at least 1 open block and seniors can have up to 3. Students use their open blocks to meet with teachers, do homework, socialize, or take a midday cognitive load break.

Kehillah observes a number of Jewish holidays, many of which fall in September and October. Several holidays are accompanied by special programming including altered schedules and/or non-working days. Teaching faculty will be given homework and assessment limitations over these holidays and should plan ahead when crafting curricular pacing for the fall.
