Our all-school opening retreat (Kinnus) is held every year to welcome our students back and set the tone for the school year. Teachers assist with dynamic programming designed by our Director of Jewish Life and Learning, which seeks to inspire thoughtfulness, encourage empathy, and entertain. Staff may be asked to participate in an overnight component of Kinnus.
Each year all students take a unique, grade-level educational trip. All full-time faculty are expected to chaperone a class trip, which means supervising, facilitating, and engaging in the programming provided. Specific chaperoning duties are based on need and availability.
