Wolfden grew up in the Bay Area and started their teaching career at Gersten Jewish School in San Leandro. They studied biochemistry and molecular cell biology at Mills College and hold a Masters of Education from Alder Graduate School. They taught math at KIPP Bay Area Schools before coming to Kehillah. Wolfden hopes to integrate their disability activism into their teaching.
