June is Pride Month - 2022

June means it’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI+) Pride Month! As many of you are probably aware, this month is set aside in the United States and many other countries to celebrate, honor, and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community. Though there’s been progress, there’s still much much more work to be done. Learn more or get involved at the resources linked below!

Pride Month occurs in the United States to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. As a result, many pride events are held during this month to recognize the positive impact LGBTQI+ people have had on our world.
