International Holocaust Remembrance Day

January 27, 2022 is International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which marks the anniversary of the day Soviet troops liberated the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in 1945 and commemorates “the 6 million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and millions of other victims of Nazism” (USHMM). If we want to build a better world, it’s vital that we educate ourselves about this history and about antisemitism, which is on the rise in the US and globally.
