Angels, Giants, & Metatron Oh MY!

The presentation is the culmination of a group research project, where students have to trace the evolution of the belief in a mythical creature through pre-Biblical, Biblical, Apocryphal, and Rabbinic literature. These creatures include different kinds of angels (Seraphim, Cherubim), giants, Metatron, the Nephilim (fallen angels) and the Leviathan. After composing a timeline that demonstrates the evolution of the belief in their assigned creature–by utilizing data from articles they find on JSTOR–students then composed a dramatic reenactment of one classical portrayal of their creature. These photos and videos show the hard work they put into their reenactments!
