Lunch Policy, Information & Resources

In the spirit of reopening with an abundance of caution,

We will continue to enjoy outdoor lunch while families are asked to bring their own meals. We have the intention of getting back to offering lunches and will continue to watch the county COVID19 rates to determine when that makes the most sense for our community.

Food must be Kosher style: no mixing of meat and dairy products, no shellfish, no pork. The JCC also has lunch options. More information below.

Please be respectful, some members of our community follow strict Kosher guidelines.

Kehillah has microwaves available for student use conveniently located outside.

We have two microwaves dedicated to those who keep strictly Kosher.  One for Hechshered (rabbinical certification) Kosher Meat/Parve products, and another for Hechshered Kosher Dairy/Parve products. Please do not use a Kosher microwave if the food item you are heating up is either not Kosher or not in a Kosher dish.  We also have a microwave that is for those who don’t keep strictly kosher.
