FEATURING COMEDIANS:
Lisa Geduldig is a San Francisco-based comedian and comedy producer who is most known for her annual comedy tradition Kung Pao Kosher Comedy™ and, more recently, her monthly Zoom comedy show, Lockdown Comedy.
Cathy Ladman is one of the country’s top comedians appearing on The Tonight Show, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and HBO’s One Night Stand. She was awarded the American Comedy Award for Best Female Stand Up Comic. Her film credits include Charlie Wilson’s War and White Oleander and her TV appearances include Mad Men, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Everybody Loves Raymond.
Samson Koletkar was born in Mumbai and raised Jewish. Samson was included in Ten Best Indian-Origin Comedians of the Last Decade by BookMyShow and Ten Indian Comedians Who Found Success in the U.S. by Silicon India. He is the founder of Comedy Oakland and co-founder of Desi Comedy Fest, and is the headliner of the You’re Funny But You Don’t Look Jewish comedy tour.
Cathy Ladman is one of the country’s top comedians. The best way to get inside her head is to see her live. Her show is a self-probing vehicle that draws laughter from exposing personal neuroses. Cathy has not only appeared on “The Tonight Show” nine times, but was also the only female comic to appear on the last two of Johnny Carson’s “Tonight Show Anniversary” shows. She has made four appearances, thus far, on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” did her own HBO “One Night Stand” comedy special, and was awarded the American Comedy Award for Best Female Stand Up Comic. A native New Yorker, now living in Los Angeles, Cathy is an acclaimed TV and film actor. Her film credits include “Charlie Wilson’s War,” “The Aristocrats,” and “White Oleander.” Her TV appearances include “Mad Men,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” and “Everybody Loves Raymond.” She has done several TV pilots, including “Caroline in the City,” in which she had a recurring role, and a bunch of others that barely saw the light of day (or night). She also appeared regularly on ABC’s “Politically Incorrect” and Comedy Central’s “Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist.” Besides writing her stand up act and original scripted projects, Cathy was on the writing staffs of “The Caroline Rhea Show” (2002), “Caroline in the City” (different Caroline altogether – 1997), and “Roseanne” (1996). She also wrote an episode of “King of Queens” and other sitcoms. Her theater credits include a successful run Off-Broadway in, “The JAP Show: The Princesses of Comedy,” the 25th Anniversary production of “Last Summer at Bluefish Cove” in Los Angeles, which was nominated for several GLAAD awards, and she and HBO developed her first solo show, “Scaredypants,” and took it to the Aspen Comedy Festival. Her second solo show, “Does This Show Make Me Look Fat?,” ran in 2014. Cathy’s comedy focuses on family, growing up, relationships, and real life from a very personal perspective. www.CathyLadman.com
Samson Koletkar was born in Mumbai and raised Jewish. He spent most of his childhood years burning the midnight candles for earning a Masters Degree in Computer Software, thereby fulfilling his parent’s dreams. He then moved halfway across the world, to the technology headquarters… and a hotbed for emerging comics: San Francisco. Samson was included in 10 Best Indian-Origin Comedians of the Last Decade by BookMyShow, 10 Indian Comedians Who Found Success in the U.S. by Silicon India, and SF Chronicle published a cover article on him India-born Stand-up Builds Comedy Utopia in Oakland. He is the founder of Comedy Oakland and co-founder of Desi Comedy Fest, the largest South Asian comedy festival in the US, held every August since 2014 in multiple cities across the Bay Area. The festival also completed a tour of India in 2016 and has created satellite events in LA, San Diego, Portland, Seattle & New Jersey. Samson is the headliner of the You’re Funny But You Don’t Look Jewish comedy tour (with 40+ performances across the US and Canada): Italian American, African American, Vietnamese American, and Indian American Jewish stand up comedians share the stage and their own experiences about being ‘undercover’ members of the tribe. Samson is the father of 2 daughters.www.mahatma-moses.com
