Kehillah Senior Wins Highest Award “Best Delegate,” at Stanford Model UN Competition
This past weekend, 14 Kehillah students competed in the Stanford Model United Nations Conference. Aidan Platkin (’19) won “Best Delegate,” representing JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon in a weekend simulation of the 2008 Financial Collapse. “Best Delegate” is the highest award possible at a model UN competition. He worked really hard leading up the competition, and it was well earned. This was the first time a Kehillah student has won the highest honor.
Ilan Eisenberg won a verbal commendation for his work as Serbia on legal issues at the United Nations.
