Kehillah Advanced Algorithms Class Tech Talk
Last week, Advanced Algorithms (H) class hosted a talk by Google software engineer and Kehillah dad, Michael Flaster. The talk described some of the algorithms and methods Google-search uses to handle vast amounts of data in reasonable (short) time. It was both very educating and inspiring for the students, who were fully engaged. Future talks will focus on DNA matching, Machine learning, and Image processing, among others.
These technical talks are part of our most advanced Computer Science class and are open to all Kehillah students. The Advance Algorithm course is for students who completed their AP Computer Science and explores algorithms in Artificial Intelligence, String Matching, and Machine Learning.
Special thanks to Michael for the very interesting talk!
