Dr. Nathan Bennett – New Dean of Students
Dear Kehillah Community,
As we shared this past March, our beloved Dean of Students, Rabbi Michelle Greenberg, has relocated to the Washington D.C. area after nine years of dedicated service to Kehillah. We will miss Michelle greatly and wish her well in her new endeavors.
We are very excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Nathan Bennett as our new Dean of Students. A distinguished scholar and exemplary educator, Nathan has excelled in the history classroom for the past four years, teaching classes in world history, philosophy, government and comparative religions. As History Department Dean, he has led major initiatives on Curriculum Scope and Sequence and grading rubrics and served as a visionary member of Kehillah’s academic leadership team.
Throughout Nathan’s tenure, he has contributed extensively to the Kehillah community as an advisor, experiential education facilitator, and trip leader, including a major role on the committee that revised the school’s daily schedule. Universally respected by students and colleagues alike, Nathan is well positioned to assume the Dean of Studies position. He brings a wealth of talent, energy, and vision into this role and looks forward to working closely with our students. Over the past few months, he has focused on ensuring a smooth transition in the office as we prepare for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Please join me in congratulating Dr. Nathan Bennett and wishing him well in his new administrative role at Kehillah.
Sincerely,
Patricia L. Carbery
