Kehillah Distance Learning Plan for Instructional Continuity – Starting March 16, 2020
Dear Kehillah Students and Parents,
I hope everyone is having a restful, healthy weekend.
This note is to communicate the details of our Distance Learning Plan for Instructional Continuity (linked below). Parents and students should read this document carefully to understand how school will operate remotely over the next few weeks. We are committed to ensuring that our Distance Learning Plan will continue to deliver the curriculum and instruction necessary to meet Kehillah’s graduation requirements and to prepare our students for college and beyond. We are asking for everyone’s patience and flexibility over the next few days as we transition to Zoom and remote learning.
I am particularly grateful for the extraordinary effort and collaboration of our staff in preparing for Distance Learning. Assistant Principal Lauren McElhatton, Academic Operations and Education Technology Manager Talia Anders, and Dean of Students Nathan Bennett have worked closely with me in the design of the plan. Most importantly, our amazing teachers have poured their energy into designing lesson plans and assignments for remote learning.
We deeply appreciate your partnership during this transition and send our best wishes to your family. If you have any questions, please contact me or any Kehillah staff member as needed.
Warm Regards,
Patti Carbery
Principal
