Sandi MacQuinn serves on the Kehillah faculty as the Coordinator of Learning Services in the Center for Learning Success, and as a private tutor in English and Language Arts. She comes from almost five decades of educational leadership: 25 years as a teacher in the Spokane, Washington Public Schools, and 22 in private education at Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, Massachusetts where she taught English in grades 8-12, served as Dean of Faculty and Director of Service Learning, received the Vernon Green Award for Faculty Excellence, and held the Edgerly Teaching Chair. Her Masters Degree in Education is from Whitworth College, where she majored in Applied Psychology and Shakespearean Studies. She loves movies, her lively family, stacks of books, acrylic painting, and her kitten Princess Leia (not necessarily in that order!) She is delighted to be part of such a vibrant community, as she found her former short retirement from teaching to be a fairly lackluster occupation.
