Sarah Janda, Ph.D.

Latin Teacher

Inspired by a lifelong love of language, mythology, and the art of Greece and Rome, Sarah Janda pursued the study of classics as both an undergraduate and a graduate student, with a particular concentration on Latin poetry of the first century CE. At Stanford University, she discovered that the most rewarding part of her graduate program was designing and teaching her own courses, and she was delighted when Kehillah offered her the opportunity to do so at the high school level. At Kehillah, she has been privileged to teach Latin, Ancient Greek, and World History courses.
