Tracy Woodham is thrilled to join the Kehillah Jewish High School English department. Prior to joining Kehillah, Ms. Woodham taught at Jemicy School, St. Paul’s Schools for Girls, as well as in Baltimore City Schools. Ms. Woodham began teaching with the New Teacher Project and earned an Americore Grant concurrently with earning her Master of Teaching degree. As an educator with backgrounds in both public and private settings, Ms. Woodham has a passion for literature, academic and authentic writing, as well as critical thinking, and thoughtful, research-based instructional strategies. Ms. Woodham earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature with a minor in Photography and Film Studies from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. She also has a Master of Teaching degree in Secondary English from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and earned a fellowship at the University of Texas at Austin, School of Journalism.
