Randy Ribay
English Teacher
 

Randy Ribay teaches English at Kehillah and serves as the Dean of the English department. He holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Colorado and an Ed.M. in Language & Literacy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and this is his thirteenth year as a classroom teacher. Originally from the Philippines, Randy has lived in Michigan, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and New Jersey. He moved to the Bay Area with his wife–who is a Ph.D. student in the school of education at Stanford–and with his two dog-children. When he’s not teaching, he writes young adult literature and is the author of An Infinite Number of Parallel Universes (Merit Press 2015), After the Shot Drops (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt 2018), and Patron Saints of Nothing (forthcoming from Kokila/Penguin Random House 2019).
