After Cornell, Mr. Linden spent two years in the Progressive Education Lab, a fellowship designed to train teachers in progressive pedagogy and practice. During this time, he taught at the Miquon School in Philadelphia, PA, The Cambridge School of Weston in Weston, MA, The Putney School in Putney, VT, and The Crefeld School in Philadelphia. He also unofficially serves as the school’s quizmaster for his Trivia Tuesday events and is a co-host of the “Historically Speaking” Podcast with his colleague and dean, Katherine Ratledge.
Matt Linden is entering his third year teaching World History, Government, and Economics at Kehillah, and he is excited to be now acting as the advisor for Student Government. After growing up in Massachusetts, he studied History and Linguistics at Cornell University, and he has a particular interest in the process of globalization in the 17th and 18th centuries, and the places and times where vastly different peoples encounter each other for the first time.
