Zack Bodner, CEO, Oshman Family JCC

Zack Bodner joined the OFJCC as the CEO in August of 2013. Under Zack’s leadership, the JCC completed construction of the campus, oversaw the creation of a new Center for Social Impact, launched the Taube Center for Jewish Peoplehood, and began hosting an annual conference called “Zionism 3.0,” thus launching the Z3 Movement to change the paradigm on relations between Israel and World Jewry.  Before joining the JCC, Zack served for 14 years as the Pacific Northwest Regional Director of AIPAC.  Zack writes for publications throughout the U.S. and Israel, including a regular Blog for The Times of Israel.  He holds a Master’s in Philosophy of Religion and Theology from Claremont Graduate University, earned his Bachelor’s degree from Yale University, where he played varsity soccer, spent a semester studying at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and recently participated in Stanford Business School’s program for Executives in Non-Profit Leadership.  Zack serves on the Boards of JCCA of North America, YPO SF Bay Chapter, American Friends of Tel Aviv University Northern California, and the Taube Family Foundation.  He lives in Los Altos with his wife Ronit and their three children, Talia, Elie and Orly.


What time can we start reserving seats?

Kehillah graduation “doors” will open at 9:30 AM

Where can we park?

Ample parking will be available at Kehillah and at the lots located at 3850 and 3870 Fabian Way. Event Parking signs will be posted at these locations.

The OFJCC has a limited number of ADA/mobility impaired spaces available which will be available on a first come-first serve basis. Other graduation guests will be directed to the 3850 and 3870 Fabian Way parking lots.

Where will the entrance be?

The entrance to the Pavilion and Park will be through the plaza.

Will there be handicapped and shaded accommodations for those who need?

Yes, there will be handicapped and shaded seating for those who need the accommodations.

Will we be able to see and hear from our seats?

We have arranged for a large, professional stage with an LED screen and a concert like sound-system to host our event this year. The seating is being carefully thought out so that there is an easy line of sight from wherever you are sitting.

What kind of shoes should we wear?

Any sort of spikes or heels is not permitted on the park field. Wedges or platforms are ok.

What should we bring?

Please bring items to protect yourself from the sun (i.e. hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc.). There will be shaded areas available. Also, please consider bringing a light sweater or jacket in case there is a breeze.

Will photos and videos be taken?

There will be a professional photographer and a professional videographer. All photos and video will be shared on the kehillah.org/graduation website when available.
