Dr. Dan Rosenthal
Dr. Rosenthal teaches physics at Kehillah Jewish High School. He is beginning his teaching career after a lengthy career in high tech. Dan spent several years working for NASA as a spacecraft dynamicist before pursuing a Ph.D. in Astronautics. After graduate school, he started a software company and spent the next twenty years working in high tech.
For the last ten years Dr. Rosenthal has been a math and physics tutor, tutoring students in every high school math and physics course. He has published many technical articles and he has lectured at universities all over the world. For several years Dr. Rosenthal developed and taught a summer math camp for young children. He is passionate about sharing his love of physics with his students.
Dr. Rosenthal completed B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley, and he completed his Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University.
